Scanning Frequency Bands (FREE SCAN)

Step 1. Press the following buttons one after each other, with gap of NO greater then one second gap between pressing a button.

Press enter, fast, scan

The next section must start within 60 seconds.

Press Enter for Band Start parameters.

enter 3.000.0   ie (3KHz)

Press Enter again for Band Stop parameters.

enter 5.000.0   ie (5KHz)

Press the 2 button for Slow rate of scan (100Hz steps)

Press the 1 button for Fast rate of scan (1Khz steps)

Press Enter for Options select mode USB or LSB, fast (F) or slow scanning (S)

Press Enter again to select a memory location to store channel (F70-F99)

Press Scan to start and stop scanning between frequencies set.

Important:-

should you hear something and want to stop and back up the frequency to fine tune,

press any 1 or 6 buttons to stop scan, use the course 1,6 or fine tuning buttons 2,7 to fine tune up or down.

pressing the scan button will cancel scanning and you will have to start again...!
